I so bored.
The boredest bored. Who ever boreded.
I've been here for 2 hours with nothing to do and I finally get some work. But am I doing it? no. Instead I'm smapping LJ. Which is...dead. Like no one is posting. Don't make me start randomly replying to posts, people. Cause I'll do it. You know I will. ;)
Can I just say, minimizing your window and seeing this staring back at you is...well, let's just say it's very nice.
And this too.
And this ain't bad either. I quite like this one.
All of those are from lance.nu
And I was tearing up again at work this morning reading everyone's post about Driven.
So yeah, did I mention how much I love Joey's dad? I mean, I though Chris' mom made me cry, but Joey's dad...yeah. And how much do I love them all? I mean, I obviously did before, but now I'm just full to the brim with love for them. Chris is truly an inspiration. I mean, I don't know what it was really like for him. I've never been in a situation like his when he was growing up. But to come from that and be where he is now. I can see why he says it's absolutely ridiculous. And he played trombone. I played trombone in middle school and high school.
And Justin. Those hips were lethal even at 7! He was just the cutest thing ever. And he knew what he wanted to do way back then. I mean, I don't even know what I want to do now. And Lynn had me crying too. I never really had any opinions about here before because I knew was mostly what other people had said about her being a scary stage mom, but I really respect her a lot. She knew her son was special and she helped him reach his dreams. She went to Germany with him and made sure he was ok. And she took care of the rest of them too.
And god, JC. "My name is Joshua Chasez and I'm from Bowie, Maryland." How much do I love 15-year-old "Josh" auditioning for the Mickey Mouse Club. So adorable. And he didn't even know how talented he was. Singing Richard Marx (how ironical is that?) and bustin' a move in that huge turquoise shirt. He was too shy to audition in front of all the people. And I so totally love JC's dad. Telling him to just try it and if he likes it he can do more, but not to expect too much on his first try. And then he got it! Because he's JC and he's just the sweetest, prettiest, most talented boy on the planet.
And Joey. Dear, sweet, Italian Joey. He is totally a product of the environment he grew up in. Joe Sr. is such a little kid. And he's so proud of his boy! I was seriously bawling. When Joey's dad lost it, there was no hope for me. And Steve cracked me up with the whole, "Yay, congratulations, good luck, it ain't gonna do crap" thing. But the thing is, he may have thought that, but he didn't tell Joey that. His family supported him no matter what. Even if they didn't think it would happen.
And of course I saved the best for last. Because this was something Lance really wanted to do. He knew who Justin was. And he wanted to go sing in a group with him. All the way to Orlando. And his mom said no, but Lynn kept calling and Diane thought it was "kind of scary" but in the end she let him go. And when the record label wanted to get rid of him, they weren't having it. Because everyone loves Lance. How could you not? And he worked extra hard to get up to the same level as everyone else. And how cute was Lance with braces? hee! Such an adorable dorky boy.
And I have to stop now because I keep tearing up and it's taken me an hour to write this with alternately typing, working and crying. Or trying not to cry. :)
hmmm, I think there was something else, but I can't remember it right now. oh well, let's just assume it was something brilliant. yeah. cuz it probably was. I'm a genius, yo.
