Well, I've just finished reading Nine Stories by J. D. Salinger. Can't say that I was all that impressed. I mean, the stories weren't bad. Just not my type of thing. But I was at the book store yesterday and so I bought it. I was actually there to get another Kurt Vonnegut book, but the only one they had in the $6 size was Slaughterhouse-five which I already own and I've read twice. And since I didn't want to spend more than that I looked around. I liked The Catcher in the Rye, so I figured I'd try another of his books. There were 2 choices, Franny and Zooey, and Nine Stories. So I chose one. And now I don't ever have to read that book again. :) heh.

Can't decide what to read next. I just re-read The Dead Zone by Stephen King, which I've been looking for for over a month now. I knew I had it somewhere. Turns out I put it under my bed so I could find it easily. Oops. :) I finished The Lord of the Rings books 3 or 4 months ago, but I've never read The Hobbit. I could try and find a copy of that around the house. I'm sure my dad has one somewhere. I am currently in the middle of reading Catch-22 by Joseph Heller and Everything's Eventual by Stephen King. I suppose I could finish at least one of those before I start another book.

read Sleepers... I dont remember the author. OR Shes Come Undone by Wally Lamb. The book I'm reading now is called Out Of The Girl's Room And Into The Night. Its ok so far... its a collection of stories about different women. I doubt I'd recommend it though... not too great.

ooh, thanks for the recommendations. I'll have to look next time I go to the bookstore.
