I am so tired tonight. I worked today. At the bookstore at the local community college. Standing up for 7 hours straight isn't fun. I mean, that's nothing compared to when I was a cashier at Toys R Us, but I'm just not used to it anymore. So my back and my feet are sore. And it was packed all day. The line was out the door. I worked on Friday and today, then I have tomorrow off and I work on Wednesday. Then that's it for this job. Unless they give me more hours which probably isn't going to happen. And hopefully the agency will have another job for me soon after that.

I have discovered (quite by accident) that A&E is showing Midsomer Murders. This makes me very happy because this means I might actually get to see the entire episode in which Orlando Bloom appeared, and not just the little 20 second clips I have downloaded. And because it looks like an interesting show.

Also, I have downloaded Sean Astin's short film The Long and Short of it that was filmed during the filming of The Lord of the Rings. I don't have enough webspace to upload the file to, but I do have an FTP server on my computer. So if you can FTP and you'd like to see it, e-mail me at sweatergurl@livejournal.com and I'll give you the info to download it. Or you can go here and stream it. (edit: you can also download it there, but you have to install their program to do so.)

And because I'm curious:
1. What do you call me?
2. What song makes you think of me, and why?
3. If you could give me one present, what would it be?
4. What one thing/event do you associate with me?
5. How well do you think you know me?

HAD to comment when I read that you worked at Toys R Us. I'm a former TRU kid. I worked there for 6 years, and I work parttime at Babies R Us. I just can't leave that place alone. I do know that I will never work at TRU again, if I can help it. That's a very stressful job, and six Christmases there pretty much ruined the whole season for me.

Yeah, I was seasonal at TRU. I worked there 4 Christmases. Probably the most stressful job I've had yet. And the 12+ hour days were not much fun.
