Wow, my neighborhood sure is getting fancy. I was looking through this circular we got in the mail about houses for sale in the area. There's a listing for one in our subdivision on the next street over. It's selling for $1,100,000! I mean, whoa! I can't believe someone built a 1 million dollar home in our neighborhood. That is so much higher than any of the other houses in our subdivision. Like, more than twice the value of every other house here. There may be 1 or 2 nicer houses on the lake that could go for $300,000 or $400,000, but even that's high for this neighborhood. Over a million dollars. That's insane.

Now, I know this house. I've walked past it before. And it is a really nice house. I've never been in it, but the listing says: 3612 sqft, 3 bd, 3.5 bath, family rm, fireplace, black walnut floors, granite counter tops, 2 islands in kitchens, master suite has 4 skylights, 50' windows overlooking the lake, 18x9 walk-in closet, tumbled marble baths, patio. And it is a lakefront property. The picture in the listing threw me a bit. I didn't recognize it at first because the picture is from the lakefront side. It looks a lot nicer from the lakefront side. But $1 million. That's a lot of freakin' money.

Ha! you should see me. walking around the house randomly stopping and saying, "1 million dollars!" I seriously can't get over this. It's too freakin' weird.
