Sarah and I had no idea who the opening acts were and she was very pleased to find out that DJ Kenneth Thomas was one of them. We had seen him in Cleveland when we went down to see Armin van Buuren. Tonight she got one of his CDs and got it signed and got to talk to him for a bit. No pictures with him though, because I had the camera and I was holding our place at the railing so the hoochies didn't steal our prime spot.
Samantha Romson (or something like that) was the other opening act and she really doesn't even merit a mention. Completely uninspired in my opinion. Hot keyboard player though.
We made friends with the funny guys next to us. They gave us their receipt to use when we ran out of paper to write messages to each other on. That concert was very loud. Definitely glad I had those ear plugs with me.
Jc was...well, JC. The boy has endless energy. And he said "The D" when referring to Detroit. Very cute. Even if not completely accurate, since we were actually in Pontiac. But, close enough. I took 4 rolls of film. I'll probably take those in for developing tomorrow. Crossing my fingers they turn out good. I attempted some phone posts from the concert, but that was a failed experiment. I kicked myself over and over for not bringing my awesome sign. I was worried it would be too big to hold up, but we were up on the balcony, right at the railing and could have hung it over. I really should bring it to every concert just in case. Afterwards we went out for a bite since most of us hadn't eaten since the afternoon. Big Boy's will never be the same.
And now I am really very tired and will go to bed so that we can get up tomorrow and go see Kill Bill Vol. 2.
